About The Event
A 3 day songwriting camp for professionals. To attend this camp you have to be represented by a publisher, label or management.
Itinerary:
September 8th
The hotel is a self service hotel and you need a pin number to get access to your room. You will receive this pin number on SMS when you arrive. Contact Carl-Henrik if you don't receive the code.
19:00 Studio opens.
21:30 Meet and greet with crackers and cheese
September 9th-10th
09:00 Breakfast in the studio - Groups for each day will be announced over breakfast in the studio. We want Out of the Woods to be an opportunity for the participants to collaborate with as many other songwriters, producers and artists as possible and so, we will change the groups daily.
09:30 Writing session starts - The groups will then have the rest of the day to develop a song together, from the ground up. The groups will be formed of 3-4 people, and all groups will contain a producer/producer team, one or two topliners, and an artist.

22:00 Listening session in the studio.
Signing of split sheets. Studio closes at midnight.

15:00 Listening session 1 and lunch.
15:30 New groups
19:00 Dinner
23:00 Listening session 2 and closing party. Free bar! Studio close at 2 am.
September 12th
08:00-10:45 Breakfast buffet available in the studio.
11:00 Studio closing
Participation fee:
1500,- NOK (approx. 156,- EUR).
This will include a 4 night stay in a hotel a stone’s throw away from the studio and meals for the duration of the camp. Participants will share a room with 2 or 3 other participants, however single rooms can be provided for an extra 1500 NOK.
How to get to us:
The camp is hosted in Rena, Hedmark, a small town between Oslo and Trondheim, easily accessible by car, train and plane (via Oslo Airport and then catching the train from within the airport).
